FINALLY!! My coupe got SPOILED!

Put on my M3 rear spoiler that I purchased from JLevi today. Pretty easy but I recommend using a second set of hands to help position it. The spoiler is actually somewhat flexible. I put down some tape on the trunk lid to help with the alignment. Cut the 3M tape in the center and PARTIALLY removed the protective backing only from the center about 4 inches on each side. Put the center in place and worked toward the ends while progressively removing the tape backing as I worked toward the end. Real easy, but wouldn't advise doing it by yourself unless you are really good at it.

IMHO, this is just what the back end of the E92 needed. BTW I also like the other available spoilers. But since I lease, I figure that there will be no problem since it is a BMW clone.

Also notice that my rear parking sensors are purple.

Well done, looks OEM perfect. I just got the E93 trunk spoiler from JLevi as well. Thanks for the tips on how you put it on. I wanted to delete the trunk sharkfin before I put on mine.

Cheers!

Knock it off about the mudflaps. If you lived in my area you would have them as well. My municipality goes crazy in the winter with cinders and salt. We get 2" of snow and they literally blanket the roads in my development with cinders. They remain on the roads ALL WINTER LONG. If that weren't bad enough, in the summer, they go wacky with tar and chipping the roads. They will blacktop a road one year and then come back and add tar and stone chips to a perfectly good road. These cinders beat the hell out of your car . Especially on the panels behind the wheels. So whether you like them or not, they're staying on my car. BTW, since they are black, I really don't think that they look bad. Sorry if you don't like them , but its my car and I want to protect it.

Not sure what you mean. I was not aware that there was more than one way to place the spoiler. When I checked out M3 pictures, thay all looked as I have installed mine.

You know for some reason, I have always thought the M3 lip was too plain. But it looks fanatastic on your car....maybe its the pictures, but now I am really leaning towards this spoiler as well. Thanks for the photos

Where did you get the mudflaps? I don't think it looks bad and it helps keep protect the car.

Keep the mudflaps. I'm adding them to my car. I might not like how they look but they are useful for me when I'm autocrossing and hitting a cone with a mud flap is much better than getting cone rash down the side of the car.

Jlevi sells them for $225 unpainted and $325 painted. I bought mine painted because I did not want to be bothered to get it painted. The paint matched perfectly.
