I keep seeing the NBTevo 2019-2 maps are available via BMW download manager, but North America cars can't access this. Does anyone have a link to the newest maps to download via USB?

We have the OTA updates but when you cross between DC and VA (southeast-doesn't update) and MD, PA, NJ (northeast - my zone and does update) overall it's not the greatest solution...

I been trying to see how to get NAV update as well. I can't even find download manager, can you share how to get to it?

While US owners don't have access to the downloads, it's an automatic OTA update (but make sure your map region is correct -- use the BMW connecteddrive website to check). Eventually, BMW will get around to sending the update to your car (but make sure you drive the car in an area with decent cell signal).

This has been one my biggest disappointments. The OTA maps drops are a joke, My car spends most of the day in either an underground garage with no cell signal at all or in my garage with little. The car was built in February but came with maps from August if I recall and took two service appointment with the dealer to get the Q1 maps it should have had. The first trip resulted in dealer saying the latest maps installed when in fact they did nothing. My mistake for not checking while at the shop. The second trip was supposed to be 1 to 2 hours while I waited after 6 hours they got me a loaner and sent me on my way to come back they next day. When I got there to pick it up the next morning as instructed. They had started a system update that resulted in many more hours. I went home again with their car. Eventually at 4PM the second day I had my car back with the correct maps. The whole experience really put me off to be honest. I should point out that they had my car for 10 days during the first appointment doing a ceramic coat and clear bra install and should have taken care of it then ...

I'd love to know why it takes so long to install the full US map update though.

I updated once Via OTA, very disappointed ,MAP is NOT accurate. by the way, what MAP BMW North America Use? Garmin or TomTom? Does it Include Canada Map?( I can't find it)

I've had my X3 since mid-2018, and I've been getting OTA regional updates every 3-6 months. My basemap is the original 2017-4, but my regional update is now up to 2019-2.
