Hello all. New to this forum and hoping to receive help in this problem I am facing with my 2013 BMW 435d.

So basically, when the car is on idle in either PARK-mode or NEUTRAL-mode there is a " deep knocking sound" coming from somewhere in the engine area. This is however best heard when standing next to the car in the front.

This sound disappears when I change to DRIVE (D)-mode and for example hold brake. Anybody knows what this could be? Really frustrating situation as this noise is pretty hearable outside. Thanks!
