Have I damaged my speakers? DSP Pro / Logic 7

Hi there, bit worried about my speakers. The cd took time to read disc and play. In the time interval I had inadvertantly turned up the volume. It then played at maximum volume. I am not sure how many speakers are present with the DSP Pro/ L7 in my E91. Sound was max only for few seconds. Could I have popped or damaged a speaker? Each corner seems to work when I isolate with balance and fade. I am now feeling paranoid about whether the bass is less but not sure if I am imagining. Sorry for essay . Hope someone can reassure me.

if a speaker(s) was blown you would normally hear a mechanical noise ("popping" or "crackling") coming from it. speakers usually don't blow from a quick one-time overload anyway but rather from prolonged abuse. from what it sounds like, your speakers are just fine.

Play song at low volume. Turn up bass high. Sit in each front seat. Compare butt sensations. (Two woofers are 2" under dr and pass butt.)

I dont want to make you feel bad, but the front 4 inch mids are prone to having problems on the L7.

Where are these 4 inch mids. And what problems do they give?
